Getting Involved as a K-12 School:

4-Week Self-Esteem Workshop

This four-week workshop session will meet once a week for 60 minutes for four weeks in a classroom setting to focus on the ideas of self-awareness, leadership development, anti-bullying, and self-esteem. The workshops will include lesson plans with worksheets, hands on activities and games, art projects, and a participation gift for each student. (Program lengths can be determined based on each school or community organization need).

WHAT'S YOUR SPARK? WORKSHOP

This one-time workshop or assembly will cover a brief overview of self-esteem, self-concept, self-awareness, and leadership development. This can be conducted in a classroom setting with worksheets, art projects, and hands on games, or in a large scale assembly program with entertainment, powerpoint, and inspirational speeches, in a 60 or 90 minute program. (Program lengths can be determined based on each school or organization).

MENTORING THROUGH THE LETTERS PROGRAM

Students and kids are matched based on interests and goals and become pen pals, where teens get the chance to mentor kids through letters over the course of six months (one letter each week). Then there is a meet-up at the end of the program session where teens and kids work together on a community service project. (Program lengths can be determined based on each school).
